4 Tips To Shop For Laser Hair Restoration Solutions

Don’t we all love shopping, especially around Christmas time?! You stroll into a store, glance at clothes, electronic gadgets and books, then ring up your gifts. End of story. Unfortunately, things aren’t quite as simple when you shop for laser hair restoration solutions.

Shopping online for a laser cap/helmet can be a bit overwhelming. Are there rules you should follow? How do you know which laser hair regrowth products work best? No need to panic. Follow our four easy tips to obtain gorgeous locks as you begin your online beauty investigation!

1) Look for true lasers

Did you know that hair follicles are buried 3 to 5 mm under the scalp? Only laser light is powerful enough to reach that depth and treat your hair follicles with energy. So if the device you’re looking at is made with Light-Emitting Diodes (LEDs) or combines LEDs with lasers, don’t bother.

Not sure if a laser helmet is actually made with lasers or LEDs? Call the manufacturer and ask for specs. Even better: stick to laser hair therapy devices made in the U.S. Only a premium device manufactured with the highest engineering standards will give you glamorous hair that has fantastic texture and volume.

2) Look for constant light

Some laser hair regrowth treatments operate with pulsed lasers. It means that lasers turn on and off and give you about half of a real laser hair therapy session. Make sure your device outputs constant light to receive full treatments and get plenty of new hair growth with extra density and fullness!

3) Look for the right number of lasers

You might be tempted to think that a large number of lasers is best, but that’s far from the truth. A device made with over eighty lasers can generate heat, which decreases the device’s power output. Don’t miss out on increased hair count and thicker hair! So stick to around 80 lasers and always pick a laser hair therapy device with an efficient ventilation system.

4) Look for a wearable device with full coverage

Moving a device around on your head or combing your hair probably sounds tedious. Who has time for that? But it isn’t just a matter of convenience: make sure ALL of your hair follicles receive enough energy during a treatment session with a wearable laser helmet that provides maximum scalp coverage.

Not sure how much energy your follicles need to minimize shedding and strengthen your hair? Here’s a tip to remember. Twenty minutes of constant laser light should do just the trick.

The Theradome LH80 PRO

Not only does the FDA-cleared Theradome LH80 PRO follow the golden rules of laser hair therapy, it also uses a proprietary wavelength (~ 678 nm) specifically designed for hair growth. So skip over the generic 655 nm laser hair regrowth treatments and rejuvenate your hair with the best.

Don’t forget that picking a laser helmet with FDA clearance is extremely important. FDA clearance guarantees the device you’re purchasing will effectively boost hair growth without harming your hair or scalp. What else is there to say?

And even better: you can even share the cordless and wearable Theradome helmet among members of your family to thicken everyone’s hair and prevent hair loss. So time to get some online shopping done and purchase new hair for the entire household today!

Happy Holidays from Theradome!
