Hair loss occurs over a prolonged period of time and the process of hair restoration takes time. Individual results differ based on various factors, but here are some suggestions that you may find useful:
- Take before and after pictures to track your progress.
- Hair loss is associated with fungus and inflammation, so it’s extremely important to incorporate a regimen of anti-fungal shampoos as you undergo laser phototherapy.
- We always advise to have your cause of hair loss properly diagnosed. If medical conditions, hormonal imbalances or other lifestyle factors such as stress or nutritional deficiencies are at the root of your problems, then the potency of your laser phototherapy treatments will be compromised. Visiting a physician, hair loss expert, or Trichologist could help you uncover an issue of which you may not be aware – which could be hindering your hair restoration progress.
Please also keep in mind that treating advanced stages of hair loss with the Theradome has not been documented, so scheduling a visit with a Trichologist is also recommended if you fall in this category. However, any slick, bald areas on your scalp indicate that hair follicles are buried underneath a layer of skin. In this particular case, only a combination of hair restoration surgery and laser phototherapy can help these particular shiny areas.
Taking all of the above into account, consistent use of the Theradome will ensure that you maximize the benefits of our laser phototherapy helmet, and don’t forget that we are here to support you along the way.
